Recommendation: Install horizontally, 2-4 inches from the wall for optimal lighting. Distance under 2 inches will create a spotlight, while distances over 4 inches will produce a flood effect. (Ensure there is a wall for downward wash effect)
• Waterproof. The light kits, in-line controller, wires, and connections are waterproof. The adapter plug is not waterproof, so plug it into an outlet with an enclosed electrical box for outdoor use
